Bahme & Associates is a California company specializing in agricultural and horticultural forensics since 1987. Our expertise focuses on resolving key crop loss issues of causation, liability and damages. We work principally in the Western States, but also serve clients in the Mid-West, South and Hawaii.

Clients include insurance companies, agricultural chemical manufacturers, dealers and applicators, growers, processors, and shippers. Bahme & Associates works in behalf of defendants about 60% of the time and the remainder for plaintiffs.

John B. Bahme, Ph.D., owns Bahme & Associates and is its principal consultant. Dr. Bahme has provided expert assistance in more than 1,000 incidents concerning greater than 100 different agricultural and horticultural crops. He has testified more than 120 times at deposition, 40 times at trial and numerous times at arbitration and mediation. Attorney references are available upon request.

Bahme & Associates uses independent associates as needed. Associates are selected based on proven expertise and testifying skill. Areas of associate specialties include pesticide chemistry, remote sensing, soils, hydrology, and agricultural economics.
